Rough Advert/Poster

This is the first draft of our advert. Jack made this advert on his own as he has better software at his home. We wanted HB to be the main image that stands out in this picture and the use of the bright lights coming 'out' of him help to emphasise his importance.

By taking the Uses and Gratifications Act into mind, we decided that we needed the poster, as well as the CD cover to represent HB's identity and his 'sense of self and social behaviour'. By having the large image of him in the centre of the poster with 'sunrays' beaming out of him, the demographic audience see HB as being God-like and very famous.

The big crowd is positioned below him showing that he is higher than them in the social and famous hierachy. We wanted HB to stand out as much as possible so when reader's see the magazine advert, they take instant interest to him.

When we got together as a group we gave feedback. This is what we said;

Positives
-Bold, exciting font
-Suitable background

-Fading on the edges -Would stand out in a magazine
-Lights on the edge

-Layout

Negative

-Colour of red writing-hard to read
-Too much
