Influence For Cover

The song we are making a video for is based around a rap song, so by looking at artists who have already become famous and known world-wide helped us to get a feel for how we should be laying out our digipak. Jay Z (above) is reknown for his use of black and white on his CD covers. This gives a sense of simplicity but because we know Jay Z is so famous, the use of white and white shading creates a powerful presence. Hence why we decided to use black and white in our CD cover.
